SECOND AWARD WIN FOR VIDEO IN 2017
Spring Lake Heights, NJ, May 1, 2017 – The Telly Awards announced today that Coastal Habitat for Humanity is a bronze winner of the 38th Annual Telly Awards for its “Repair. Rebuild. Restore.” Superstorm Sandy educational video produced by VIRGILIO.media. The production is a winner from more than 13,000 entries.
Earlier in 2017, the short form video won a gold Hermes Creative Award from the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals (photo right).

“Repair. Rebuild. Restore” was produced to spotlight Coastal Habitat’s impact thanks to its donors, supporters and volunteers – along the Southern Monmouth County, New Jersey coastline. Late-October will mark the 5th Anniversary the storm touched land in New Jersey.
The Telly Awards were founded in 1979 and is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, the finest video and film productions, and online commercials, video and films.Â Winners represent the best work of the most respected public relations agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, and corporate video departments in the world.
For the 38thÂ year, a judging panel of over 500 accomplished industry professionals, each a past winner of a Silver Telly and a member of The Silver Telly Council, judged the competition, upholding the historical standard of excellence that Telly represents. Less than 10% of entries are chosen as winners.
